The 3% tax
There is a 3% tax on the token. 80% of it goes toward the national debt. 20% goes to marketing and project growth. Each allocation has its own records.
Where the money comes from
The token tax is a private charge, separate from federal taxes. This project cannot redirect government revenue. Token supply is allocated separately.
Completed contributions
$11,350 has been donated so far toward the U.S. national debt. The fund uses Treasury’s official route for gifts to reduce debt held by the public. Each completed gift is posted with the official receipt. A trade or the token tax is not a completed contribution. Read Treasury’s gift program ↗
The token
National $DEBT is a Robinhood Ethereum token launched on Pons. A 3% tax on the token. 80% of that tax goes toward the national debt. 20% goes to marketing and project growth.

Treasury’s Debt to the Penny series provides the official daily total. Our clock projects an estimate from it. The Transparency page lists the official figure, date, and source.
